What we collect

What you send us. When you use a form, we receive what you type: typically your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and details about the car, quote, or trade-in you are asking about.
Calls and emails. If you call or email, we keep the details needed to help you with your purchase.
How the site is used. Like most websites, this site records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. If analytics or tag management is enabled, it uses cookies to measure visits and form submissions in aggregate.

How we use it

To reply to you and to research, negotiate, and complete the car purchase or lease you ask us to help with.
To share the details a dealership, lender, or transport company needs, only when you have asked us to proceed with a deal.
To understand which pages are useful and to keep the website working and secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give your phone number to dealers for them to call you.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in the website's database and sent by email to Jeff Lichtenstein. They are kept for as long as needed to help you and to keep ordinary business records, then deleted.

Website chat

If you use the chat on this site, your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service to write the replies. The conversation is saved in the website's database and emailed to Jeff Lichtenstein so he can follow up. Answers from the assistant can be wrong and are not a quote. Please do not type payment card, bank, or ID numbers into the chat.

Spam protection and booking

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. It checks your browser, not your identity, and most people never see it. If you book a call after paying the retainer, the booking is handled by Calendly, and your name and email are passed to Calendly only so the booking form is filled in for you.

Google reviews

Reviews shown on this site are published by their authors on Google and displayed here through Google's Business Profile service. To change or remove a review, edit it on Google.

Cookies

The site itself does not need cookies to work. Analytics tools, if enabled, may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing carpricenegotiator@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honor them.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
