Hiring Jeff was, without question, the best investment I made in the entire car-buying process. If you think you are simply hiring someone to negotiate the price of a car, you are seriously underestimating what Jeff brings to the table. He became my negotiator, advisor, strategist, sounding board and, by the end of the process, someone I genuinely felt I could count on as a friend. I was searching nationwide for a very specific car and considered multiple vehicles and dealerships in different states. There were negotiations that went nowhere, dealers that would not move on price, changing options, paperwork questions, transportation logistics, and many moments when I needed to decide whether to push, wait, or walk away. Jeff was there through all of it—seemingly at any hour of the day. What impressed me most was his judgment and resourcefulness. He understands how dealerships operate, knows when there is realistically room to negotiate and when there isn’t, and always looked at the entire transaction rather than becoming fixated on one number. When a problem appeared, Jeff always seemed to have an idea, a contact, an alternative, or simply the right advice about what to do next. Most importantly, I always felt that Jeff was completely on my side. His advice was smart, practical, friendly and focused on getting me the right car and the right overall deal—not simply completing a transaction. Having someone experienced whom I could call and ask, “What do you think?” gave me enormous confidence throughout the process. In the end, I bought a beautiful car from hundreds of miles away, sight unseen. It arrived in pristine condition, and I could not be happier with either the car or the deal. Jeff was an essential part of getting me there. I started this process thinking I was hiring a professional negotiator. What I actually got was a trusted advisor and advocate who stayed beside me from beginning to end. If you are wondering whether hiring Jeff is worth it, my answer is very simple: absolutely. It was one of the best investments I made in this purchase. I would use him again without a second thought and could not recommend him more highly. Thank you, Jeff, for the patience, persistence, countless calls and messages, and especially for always being there when I needed you.
How our car buying service works, step by step
A car buying service works like this: you tell us the car you want, or send us the one you found. We negotiate with the dealers for you, get an itemized out-the-door price in writing, and check the paperwork. You go in once to sign and drive. You never haggle.

The car negotiation service process, step by step
Your involvement is simple: a brief phone call, your final approval, and a signature. Our team manages every dealer interaction, email, and price negotiation from start to finish.
A 20-minute phone call about the car
You, by phone or the form
Make, model, trim, and color if you know them, or just the kind of vehicle and the budget. Whether you want to buy or lease, whether there is a trade-in, and how soon you need it. If a dealer has already quoted you, send the quote, and we start from there. If it makes sense to go ahead, the $100 retainer opens the file. It is separate from the 1% success fee, which is billed only when you buy. Details are on the pricing page.
We negotiate with the dealers
Our negotiators, however long it takes
We go straight to sales and general managers, not the showroom floor, with the incentive, rebate, and holdback picture in hand. Several dealers compete for the same car. If the best deal is in another state, we handle the out-of-state purchase and the shipping. Your phone number never reaches the dealers. If you want to drive the car before you decide, we schedule the test drive with the dealer.
You get the out-the-door price in writing
Before you go anywhere
An itemized figure: vehicle price, trade-in, dealer fees, taxes, and registration. No market adjustment, no surprise add-ons. You can sanity-check it yourself with the out-the-door price checker.
Sign and drive, with us on speaker
You, one visit
The finance office is where rate markups and add-ons appear. We review the contract before you sign, as part of the finance manager's office review. Then the 1% success fee is billed, and you drive home.
What does a car buying service do, exactly?
Everything between choosing the car and driving it home that costs buyers money.
Do I ever have to talk to the dealer?
Only to sign. We do the negotiating by phone and email with the managers who can approve a price. You go to the dealership once, to sign the agreed paperwork and collect the car, unless it is being shipped to you.
Can you negotiate a car price over the phone or by email?
Yes, and that is how almost all of it happens. A written quote by email is better than a showroom promise, because it can be compared, checked, and held to.
How long does the car buying process take?
For a car that is in stock, often a few days. For a specific trim and color, or a car on order, it takes as long as the right one takes to find. The retainer covers the whole search either way.
Can I hire someone to negotiate a car for me if I already found one?
Yes. Send us the link and any quote through our Send the Car Link form. A deposit already paid does not rule it out.
What if I do not know what I want yet?
The first call often saves the most. We will talk through new versus certified pre-owned, buying versus leasing, and which trims hold value, then use the car finding service to track it down.
